2016 Xmas Rock-POP song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock n roll song has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to record the music over a six week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the USA due to Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The song is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then we hope in-turn they’ll be good enough to donate to one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the track.
Another absolute goal is to be able enough downloads of the track to help fund and set up a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to promote his music Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Hotel and cheap flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
