How weddings have changed on the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; an easy wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
These are the second, wedding speeches are nevertheless a fundamental part of being married and guests do enjoy hearing them, speaking about them before, during as well as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, during the meal and after the meal, yet it’s of your strong opinion how the father of the groom speech must be delivered after the meal. I am aware that for most marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father of the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the 5 main speakers), they would prefer to hold the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, to allow them to enjoy their meal (many of them are spending money for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and exactly how most of them (and indeed the marriage venue staff) would choose the wedding ceremony speeches to be delivered following your meal for a lot of reasons, a few of which include:
The invited guests are already fed and watered and are not listening to wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which may be ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches before the meal and their can be quite a delay of 15 minutes to a single.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The marriage speeches behave as the transition from the meal for the dancing (broke happening as soon as the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to become shared concerning the Bride & Groom after which they do know they can get out of bed, move around, take a rest, go for a walk, go to the bar…)
It can be difficult for folks with the Bride & Groom to communicate in public areas, since most of them would not be used of computer. So, they could, should they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.
There should still be some sort of formal speech(es) following the meal…
