2016 Christmas Rock-POP music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock-POP track has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to studio record the tune durring a six week period. The track includes 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The track is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website that we can and then ideally in-turn they’ll be good enough to help to one or any of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
One other main goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to help fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to promote his song Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to simply help including a Phuket island Villa and cheap flights to Phuket booking system. Every penny helps.
