A brand new 2016 Christmas rock n roll song has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. The songs name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session musicians to studio record the track durring a six week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark needed the best outcome and quality. The song is now ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then we hope in-turn they will be good enough to donate to 1 or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
One other main goal is to get enough downloads of the song to help fund and setup a Phuket live music pub with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local colleges and children’s orphanages.
